The CommTraffic Console has a separate window that allows you to have the vital network utilization statistics, alarms, and traffic totals visible and available without keeping the Toolbox window open. Just like the Monitor page of the Toolbox, the Floating monitor may display a number of sections and each of them may be configured to display a traffic graph (summary, incoming, or outgoing) and total figures for traffic volume, connection time, alarms, and expenses. Right-clicking on the Floating Monitor caption bar or clicking on the "~" sign brings up the following menu: Stay on Top keeps the Floating Monitor window on top of all other windows. Screen Snap makes the window stick to the edge of the screen when it is dragged and dropped near the screen perimeters. Tray Icon show or hide the Floating Monitor system tray icon. Opacity sets the Floating Monitor window opacity. Hide puts the Floating Monitor window to the background. Close closes the window. Section allows you to add sections that display traffic. Provider sets the current active provider (allows you to switch between providers, if you have more than one). The Floating Monitor window can be customized just like the Toolbox Monitor page, and its configuration is independent from the Monitor page. When the Floating Monitor is open and Tray Icon option is enabled, it displays an icon in the system tray area. Right-clicking on the icon brings up the menu: Hide puts the Floating Monitor window to the background. Close closes the window. |
