It is a common practice for many Internet Service Providers to offer different (usually lower) rates on weekends and holidays. Weekends are universal everywhere. However, holidays differ from country to country. The Holidays page is a tool that allows you to specify the dates that are considered holidays by your ISP. Specifying holidays enables CommTraffic to give you a more precise account of your Internet expenses if your ISP uses special holiday rates.
You can open the Holidays page by clicking Settings => Holidays. The Holiday Editor window may also be launched from the Tariff Period configuration wizard. Click on the Add button in the Holidays page to define a new holiday. Type in the date of the holiday in the Date field. Optionally, fill out the Name and Comment fields, and click on the OK button to add the holiday. Dragging the column header to the desired place will change the sequence of columns in the Holidays page. You can hide certain columns by right-clicking on the header of a column and unchecking the entries that you need to hide. You can also sort the entries by clicking on the header of the corresponding column. Holidays list - has a context menu that allows you to manage your holidays. Add - launches the new holiday dialog window. Modify - allows you to modify the selected entry. Delete - deletes the selected entry. Copy - copies the selected line, its part, or all entries to the clipboard. Open - allows you to open a holidays file from the disk. You can also drop a CommTraffic holidays file (.cthld) into the Holidays page to open it. Save - saves the listed holidays to the disk in CommTraffic format, as well as in HTML, XML, RTF, XLS and text file formats. Print opens the printing dialog window. Options opens a dialog window where you can change the appearance of the Holidays page. This list of items is duplicated in the Action => Holidays menu. The Holiday Editor window may also be launched from the Tariff Period configuration wizard. |
