Country Flags

The SDK includes swapires.dll that contains (as resources) the flags of all countries for which the ISO 3166-1 code has the Officially Assigned status. The images are 16x16 pixel true type pictures; the background color is fuchsia. You can either use these resources directly (they are conveniently named so that the resource name is the Country ID of the respective country), or access them using the functions exported by the DLL:

SWAPI_GetCountryFlagsImageListEx
SWAPI_GetCountryFlagsImageListIndex
SWAPI_DestroyCountryFlagsImageList

When using these functions, swapimap.dll must be located in the same folder as swapires.dll. Always use the DLLs that have the same date.
