You can use this tool for editing for the five important system files: services, protocol, networks, hosts, and lmhosts. When the program is started, this tool reads records from these files as shown below: 
This tool is intended for computer professionals, so please don't edit these files unless you know exactly what you are doing. Right-clicking on the window brings up a menu with the following commands: Delete Selected – removes the selected record(s). Delete All – removes all records. |
