Every country in the world is assigned a two-letter abbreviation. These abbreviations are used for identifying the geographic location of a hostname or domain, and are also called Top Level Domains (TLD). You can see the list of TLDs by clicking View => Country Codes. You can sort the entries by country names or codes by clicking the Country or Code column at the top of the window. Right-clicking on the list of notes brings up the following menu: Copy copies the list of countries and codes, the selected entry, country, or code to the clipboard. Save As saves the entries in text, HTML, XML, or XLS format. The most up-to-date official TLD list is available at http://www.iana.org/cctld/cctld-whois.htm. |
