Upgrades
Upgrade Policy
As a registered customer, you are entitled to free upgrades during one year from the date of purchase. It means that for one year you can download and install the latest versions of the software from our site, and the license file(s) that you received from us when you purchased the software will work with the latest product version.
Please note that you may not be eligible for free upgrades if you purchased our product(s) as a part of a special discounted offer via our partners. To check if you are eligible, click Help => About in the program menu. Eligible customers will see a box that reads "Free upgrades until ..." If you don't see that box, you are not eligible.
If you purchased the software more than one year ago, you are no longer entitled to free upgrade; however, you can purchase an upgrade to the latest version at a discounted price (see the table below), and this upgrade will allow you to have free upgrades for another year.
If you don't want to purchase an upgrade, you can use the program forever; it will never expire, but you won't be able to use the latest version or get free technical support.
Additionally, CommView users who would like to upgrade from the Home License to the Enterprise License can do so by paying the price difference.
If you have a question about our upgrade policy, or don't remember your order date, or need pricing and ordering instructions for large multi-user upgrades and/or non-standard packages not listed above, feel free to e-mail us. Important: These upgrades are for existing customers only. If we don't find your name in the customer database, we'll have to cancel the order.
